Minister of Energy and Industry Meets UN Official

Doha, January 22 (QNA) - HE the Minister of Energy and Industry Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al Sada met here today with Executive Secretary of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Christiana Figueres. Talks during the meeting dealt with ways of enhancing cooperation between Qatar and the United Nations in the field of environment particularly matters related to the Eighth Conference of parties to the UNFCCC, slated for Doha from November 26 to 7 December. The meeting was attended by senior directors in the Qatar Petroleum. (QNA)
