PM proposes new Cabinet line-up to Thai King

BANGKOK, January 17 (TNA) - Thai Government Spokesperson Thitima Chaisaeng publicly admitted Tuesday that Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra has sought a royal approval from His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej for her first Cabinet reshuffle with some 16 positions proposed for changes. Thitima, however, declined to reveal the new Cabinet line-up, saying only that some ministers will be replaced and some others will swap positions; while some outsiders will also join the Thai Cabinet. Premier Yingluck then confirmed that she forwarded the new Cabinet line-up to His Majesty the King on Monday, citing that the proposed changes are for her government's better performance to serve public and national interests.
