Al Mahmoud Returns to Doha

Doha, January 16 (QNA) - HE Deputy Premier and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud returned to Doha this evening from El Fasher the capital of North Darfur state, Sudan, after he had chaired the second meeting of the Committee assigned to follow up the implementation of the Doha Document for Peace in Darfur (DDPD). HE Al Mahmoud was seen off upon departure at El Fasher airport by Prof. Ibrahim Gambari, the Special Envoy of the United Nations and the African Union (AU), the UNAMID Chairman , Dr. Tijani Sisse, Head of the Darfur Regional Authority (DRA), and Leader of the Liberation and Justice Movement (LJM), Dr. Amin Hassan Omar , Minister of State at the Presidency of the Republic and Head of follow-up of peace in Darfur Office, and Governor of the state of North Darfur, Othman Kiber.
