PSG Secures All European Finals after 16th Goal in Al Kass

Doha, January 16 (QNA) - Expectations are high for a seemingly unstoppable Paris Saint Germain to win the finals after the team brought in its 16th goal and second hat-rick of the Al Kass International Cup U-17 in an all too easy win against the Kashima Antlers. The match, which ended 5-1, kept the crowds on their toes as three of PSG s goals rained in during the first 20 minutes with a single response from the Antlers in the first half. But the final race to the cup won t be an easy one, as PSG face the Italian Juventus who tore into their opponent Ajax Amsterdam s net with four goals to one. Juventus delivered the perfect game, as their three-time Man of the Match puts it, and are determined to do the same during the final show down. "The Italians are strange people," said Juventus coach Fabrizio DelRosso. "The last three games my team played I felt they were not the team I knew. But tonight they remembered who they are, they had their minds on the field and most importantly their hearts." Del Rosso added that his tactic had been to identify the players in Ajax who could keep possession of the ball and to ensure that the ball never reached them. Despite the crushing defeats teams have suffered at their hands. PSG s coach Laurent Bonadei won t celebrate until he s reached the end game. "We ve been working really hard, and have put a lot of effort and focus on our offensive side. I will continue to drive my team until we ve delivered a great, final spectacle," he said. Antlers coach Joaquim Ferreira promised his fans that despite being displaced from the final running they would continue to give their best in the battle over third and fourth places. The two teams will meet in a final on Tuesday at 4.15 pm. Ajax Amsterdam will compete with Kashima Antlers over the 3rd and 4th places. (QNA)
