President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady inspect construction progress in and around State Flag Square

Azerbaijan, Baku, Jan. 12 / Trend / President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva have today visited the construction site of the part of Baku-Alat highway to the State Flag Square and of the new boulevard as well as rebuilding activities in and around the State Flag Square. The Head of State was informed about the implementation of the project on construction of the part of Baku-Alat highway to the State Flag Square. He was told of the 8 lane-highway, which meets modern standards. Pedestrian passages will be built here as well. The President was also informed about the ongoing works in the new boulevard. President Ilham Aliyev and first lady Mehriban Aliyeva became familiar with reconstruction work in and around the State Flag Square. The Head of State and his spouse viewed the construction of Sports and Concert Complex in the area. President Ilham Aliyev gave relevant instructions.
