Qatari Ambassador to Albania Meets Prime Minister

Tirana, January 12 (QNA) - and Prime Minister of Albania Sali Berisha met here today with Qatar's Ambassador to Italy Sultan bin Saad Al-Meraikhi whose term of office as non-resident ambassador of the State of Qatar to Albania has expired. The ambassador conveyed greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani to the Prime Minister of Albania and their wishes of further progress and prosperity to his country. For his part, the Albanian Prime Minister entrusted the Ambassador with his greetings to HH the Emir, HH the Heir Apparent and HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, and their wishes of further development and growth to Qatar. The Albanian Prime Minister praised the efforts exerted by the Ambassador which have had a good effect in creating a positive atmosphere to strengthen the bonds of cooperation between the two countries at all political, economic and cultural levels. Meanwhile Albanian Deputy Prime Minister Edmund Haxhinas to meet with the Ambassador who expressed, during the meeting, his thanks for the cooperation he received during his tenure. (QNA)
