"In achieving this certification, QIB has demonstrated once again that it is mindful of the need for information security and independent auditing. This is something that we know our customers and potential customers will find attractive and reassuring.
ISO: 27001 is a strong endorsement of our commitment to taking a proactive stance against security threats and breaches."
QIB s general manager (personal banking) D Anand said: "Achieving ISO: 27001 indicate that all transactions and customer information, which are processed through QIB s ATMs/CDMs, contact Centre, Internet and mobile banking, and are handled in a secure manner."
