SEOUL, Oct. 2 (Yonhap) -- Choi Jin-sil, a famous South Korean actress, was found dead in her home, police said Thursday.
Police confirmed her death after receiving a call that she had committed suicide,
an officer at the Seocho Police Station said.
She was found dead in her house in the Seocho district of southern Seoul.
Rumors have circulated that Choi had lent money to another actor, Ahn Jae-hwan,
who recently committed suicide reportedly due to mounting debt.
