Kia Motors posts 12.2 pct decline in September
SEOUL, Oct. 1 (Yonhap) -- Kia Motors Corp., South Korea's second-largest
automaker, said Wednesday its September vehicle sales slipped 12.2 percent from a
year earlier, hit by weak demand overseas.
Kia sold a total of 96,734 vehicles last month, with domestic sales rising 19.5
percent to 24,322 units, while exports fell 19.4 percent to 72,412 units, the
company said.
