Libya Keen On Deepening Ties With Iran: Libyan Minister

Tripoli, Jan 10, IRNA – Culture minister of Libya’s ruling National Transitional Council (NTC) said his country is making effort to establish friendly relations, cultural ties in particular, with the Islamic Republic of Iran. Abdul Rahman Habil told IRNA that the Muslim Iranian people are Libyans’ brothers, hoping that Tehran and Tripoli would deepen bilateral relations. He said Libya’s NTC is planning for fostering media cooperation with all nations including the Islamic Republic of Iran./end
