Turkish Cargo launches freighter flights to Libya

TRIPOLI (A.A) - Turkish Airlines' (THY) cargo services has launched scheduled freighter flights to Libya. Turkish Cargo launched freighter flights to the Libyan airport Mitiga, only 8 kms next to Tripoli. The flights will take place with a weekly frequency of 2, Wednesdays and Sundays.  Depending on demand, the flights will be performed by Turkish Cargo's A310 Freighter, which offers a capacity of 36 tons or by A330-200 Freighter which offers a capacity of 65 tons.  Turkish Cargo is one of the first airline, which launches freighter flights Libya right after the local rise-up, supports efforts to normalize trade and business relations.
