TV, RADIO PROGRAMMES MAKE HARI RAYA CELEBRATIONS A MORE JOYOUS OCCASION
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 1 (Bernama) -- The various festive programmes from the television and radio stations have make the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations today a more joyous occasion, said Information Miniser, Ahmad Shabery Cheek.
"What is Hari Raya without TV and radio? With these facilities the festive
atmosphere will widely felt ... for example, when listening to the Raya songs
from the radio stations," he said during the visit to Radio Bernama 24 studio
here Wednesday.
He advised the people to be thrifty and prudent in their spending in the
face of uncertain economic situation now.
Earlier, Shabery attended a Majlis Jamuan Hari Raya organised by the
station.
Also present was Bernama Editor-in-Chief, Yong Soo Heong.
