ISTANBUL (A.A) - January 2, 2012 - Prime Minister of the Palestinian administration in Gaza, Ismail Haniya, met on Sunday night Palestinians who were released after a swap deal and arrived in Turkey. Haniya addressed eleven former Palestinian prisoners who were exchanged in return for an Israeli soldier and said "the heroes of Palestine, I have brought you the warmest regards of the Palestinian people". Haniya shook hands with all the Palestinians and listened to their problems. We thank Turkey much for helping the 11 Palestinians, Haniya said. The change in the Arab world made a great contribution to the Palestine issue. There will be important developments pertaining to the Palestine issue in the next few years, Haniya underlined. Difficult days are over. We will continue to struggle until all of our brothers in prisons get released, Haniya added. At the end of his speech, Haniya presented an "Appreciation and Gratitude Certificate" to former Palestinian prisoners.
