NUMBER OF HOMEGOERS AT SENEN RAILWAY STATION DECREASING TODAY
Jakarta, Sept 30 (ANTARA) - One day before the Idul Fitri up to 12,000 train passengers were leaving for their hometowns from the Senen railway station in Central Jakarta, 10 to 15 percent less than yesterday's homegoers, an official said here Tuesday.
Anticipating the number of train passengers leaving for their hometowns for the Idul Fitri, head of the Senen Raiway Station Barosad said a number of extra trains were standing by in case the regular trains were alreay too fully packed with passengers. Sixteen reguler trains left the station at intervals from 6.10 to 21.30, while the extra trains left in between..
Barosad said there is no difference in the train fare, whether by regular or special trains.
