Qatar Football Association to Attend Meeting of GCC Clubs Associations' Heads

Doha, December 28 (QNA) - Qatar Football Association (QFA) will take part in the general meeting of heads of GCC clubs associations to be held in Manama in January on Bahrain hosting the 21st edition of the Gulf Cup. HE QFA Chairman Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani will head the delegation to the meeting to be conducted one year before the start of the 21st Gulf Cup in accordance with the regulations of the tournament. The GCC associations' leaders will discuss several topics related to hosting the event in Bahrain, such as setting out the date of the tournament as well as the date of the draw, which is expected to be held next summer. The meeting will ratify the decisions taken at the previous meetings of heads of GCC unions and discuss other issues. It will be preceded by the general meeting and another one for secretaries of GCC unions. (QNA)
