QFMA to Cease Trading of UDC Shares

Doha, December 28 (QNA) - The Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA) announced the temporary suspension in the trading of United Development Company (UDC) shares, as of Wednesday s trading session, dated 28/12/2011. According to a clarification by QFMA published today at Qatar Exchange (QE) website, this measure aims to give investors equal and sufficient opportunities to view all information related to the disclosure statement by the company on December 4th, 2011. Established in 1999 and listed on the QE in June 2003, UDC is one of Qatar s leading private sector shareholding companies. UDC s mission is to identify and invest in long-term projects contributing to Qatar s growth and providing good shareholder value. (QNA)
