S. Korea to issue 58.26 tln won worth of Treasuries next year
SEOUL, Sept. 30 (Yonhap) -- South Korea plans to issue around 58.26 trillion won (US$48.5 billion) worth of Treasuries next year, the Finance Ministry said Tuesday.
The envisioned debt sale is compared with 53 trillion won to be raised through
the issuance of government bonds for this year. The ministry initially planned
to sell 57 trillion won worth of Treasuries this year, but recently reduced the
amount by some 4 trillion won in order to stabilize the local bond market.
