Omani Olympic Committee Secretary General: Qatar Proves Pioneering of Arab Sports

Doha, December 27 (QNA) -Secretary General of Omani Olympic Committee (OOC) Hilal Ali Al-Sinani has confirmed that Doha has proved its pioneering role of the arab sports through the unprecedented success and mammoth efforts it has achieved for organizing the 12th arab games 2011 with support and consolidation of the wise Qatari leadership. This came in the message Ali Al-Sinani has dispatched to Secretary General Of Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) HE Sheikh Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Al Thani who is also the head of the Supreme Organising Committee of the 12th Arab Games -2011 which concluded in doha earlier last Friday, Dec.23. Whatever successes achieved as far as preparation , organisation and management of competitions , accommodation , transportations and media facilities are concerned, have led to the unmatched successes in the sports sector as represented in the admission and accreditations of the international sports federations , unions and the international Olympic committee .
