Advisory Council Holds Its Weekly Regular Sitting

Doha, December 26 (QNA) - The Advisory Council held its weekly regular sitting of its 4oth session under its Speaker HE Mohamed Bin Mubarak Al-Kholeifi . At the outset of the meeting , the Advisory Council's Secretary General HE Fahed Bin Mubarak Al-Khayareen read out the agenda which was later agreed upon by the members and then the council approved the minute of the previous sitting. The Advisory Council also reviewed the two following decree laws : 1- A decree -law No./14/ of the year 2011 to amend some provisions of Law No. (8) of the year 2008 regarding consumer protection. 2. A decree Law No. (16) of the year 2011 to amend some provisions of the decree law No. (33) of the year 2006 regarding Qatar Central Bank (QCB) The advisory council decided to refer the two decree laws to the financial and economic affairs committee for further study and report the council later on.
