Rector of Baku Branch of M.V.Lomonosov Moscow State University Nargiz Pashayeva made this statement addressing a scientific conference dedicated to Imanguliyev's 100th anniversary at the Baku State University on Thursday. "At the family council, we decided to turn a house, where Nasir Imanguliyev lived, into a museum in the future so that this house could became a house of journalists and serve everyone - members of the youth, pedagogues, who have chosen journalism as their profession, and so that doors of the house were always open for you," Pashayeva said. She spoke about Nasir Imanguliyev's creative activity. Pashayeva stressed that her grandfather continued traditions of founders of Azerbaijani journalism in his activity. The new generation of Azerbaijani journalists was educated and continued the school of such leading figures as Muhammad Aga Shahtakhtinski, Omar Nemanzade, Ali Bey Huseynzade, Ahmed Bey and Mirza Jalil Mammadguluzade, Pashayeva added. "Imanguliyev was a prominent journalist, pedagogue, public figure, as well as a good editor," she added. Pashayeva said she spent most of her life near her grandfather, who used often to take her to public events. "I am very indebted to Nasir Imanguliyev. I remember when I was a child he often took me with himself to public events. It was my grandfather who introduced me to Niyazi, Shovkat Alekberova, Gara Garayev and other famous people," Pashayeva said.
