10 DEAD IN BOAT CAPSIZE OFF PORT KALNG
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 30 (Bernama) -- At least 10 passengers died while 109
were rescued after a boat carrying Indonesians capsized about 1.2 nautical miles
off Port Klang Tuesday morning.
Peninsular Malaysia Marine Department Director-General Capt Ahmad
Othman said in a statement here that the search and rescue operation was still
going on.
The incident occurred at 7.30am in the waters of Tanjung Buas Buas.
The passengers were believed to be returning home to celebrate
Aidilfitri.
