Traffic accident kills 24 people in southeast Turkey

BISMIL (A.A) - December 21, 2011 - 24 people were killed in a traffic accident in Bismil town of the southeastern province of Diyarbakir on Wednesday. Diyarbakir Governor Mustafa Toprak told AA that a midibus and a truck collided near Salat village of Bismil town, killing 24 people. Toprak added that eight people were also injured in the accident. Injured citizens were taken to hospitals in Bismil and Diyarbakir, he noted.
