President calls for prioritizing the country`s interests

SANA'A, Sep. 29 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh called on
Monday all citizens of the country to bear the national
responsibility and put interests of the country first regardless of
partisan consideration.

He urged in his speech to Yemenis on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr to
distance themselves from whatever evokes disputes, hatred and
separation, and to be one line to achieve interests of the country
and reinforce its unity.

President affirmed that efforts are continuous for the sake of
translating his electoral platform and to achieve goals of the
comprehensive development, emphasizing the importance of gathering
efforts to push those efforts to achieve the national interest.

He also called all segments of the county to confront all kinds of
violence, extremism and terrorism in addition to standing by
security apparatuses in performing their national duty to protect
security and stability and fight crimes.

Saleh expressed comfort for efforts exerted to end rebellion and
settle peace in Saada governorate.

Saleh sent his best wishes to all Yemenis on Eid al-Fitr, wishing it
to return with more progress and prosperity.
