Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Crown Prince make speech on Eid Al-Fitr

Makkah, September 29, SPA--The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King
Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz
Al Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and
Inspector General, made a speech on the occasion of the blessed Eid
Al-Fitr for 1429H.

The following is the text of the speech which was delivered through
the media by Minister of Culture and Information Iyad bin Amin
Madani:
In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful,
Praise be to Allah, and peace be upon the last prophet Mohammed and
all prophets.

Brothers and sisters:
Peace and Allah's mercy and blessings be upon you.
We praise Almighty Allah for helping us to fast the blessed month of
Ramadan and to perform prayers. We pray to Almighty Allah for
accepting it and we thank Allah for the advent of the blessed Eid
Al-Fitr. We also pray for forgiveness, redemption from fire, and
unity of the right guidance and way.

We are pleased to extend our sincere congratulations from this holy
land on the advent of the blessed Eid Al-Fitr to Muslims all over the
world, wishing you happy days full of love and happiness.
