Kuwait Wins More Medals in Arab Games

Doha, December 19 (QNA) - Ahmad Abul of Kuwait won the silver medal in the shot put competitions of the Arab Games on Monday. Abul's toss landed at the 18.74-meter mark behind Egyptian Yasser Faraj's 19.44 meters. Meanwhile, Abdulaziz Al-Mandeel of Kuwait qualified for the final of the 110 m hurdles race. In another sport, Kuwaiti female karateka Manayer Salmeen won a silver and a bronze in the 50kg category. Salmeen came second after losing to Egyptian karateka Yassmin Rasheed 0-4. She won the brozne in the Kata display. In the men's competitions, Kuwaiti karatekas Abdullah Al-Mutairi and Abdullah Al-Otaibi won bronze medals in the 60 and 67 kg categories respectively. (QNA)
