Philippine businesses to explore investment opportunities in Vietnam

Hanoi (VNA) - A delegation of 15 Philippine businesses will explore
investment opportunities and seek partners during their working visit to
Vietnam lasting from Oct. 6-9.

The visit is jointly organised by the Vietnam Trade Mission in the
Philippines , the Philippine Industry and Trade Ministry and the Ho Chi
Minh City Trade Promotion Department Office.

While in Vietnam , the Philippine entrepreneurs will meet
representatives from local businesses on Oct. 7. They are set to visit a
number of for-export goods processing establishments in HCM City and
the Ho Chi Minh City International Furniture and Handicrafts Fair.

The Philippine businesses are involved in labour exports; cosmetics,
garment and textiles, packaging equipments, foodstuff processing and imports
and exports.
