Syrians moved to Oncupinar border gate to enter Syria

NUSAYBIN (A.A) - December 14, 2011 - As Syria shut down Nusaybin border gate, Syrian citizens in Turkey were moved to Oncupinar border gate to be able to enter Syria. 80 Syrian citizens, who have been waiting in Nusaybin border gate to enter their country for six days, were transported to Oncupinar border gate (in southeastern Kilis province) by buses which were provided by Nusaybin Municipality. Syria said it shut down Nusaybin border gate for maintenance and repair. Nusaybin Subgovernor Murat Girgin told AA that Turkish personnel in Nusaybin border gate were working on regular shifts although there had been no passages in the gate for the last six days, adding that they did not have any information when the gate would be opened.
