Personal loans up 28 percent since January 2011

ANKARA (A.A) - December 9, 2011 - Personal loans in Turkey increased by 28.1 percent since January 2011, data showed. Personal loans, which included home loans, vehicle loans, credit card spending as well as other loans, climbed to 160.3 billion TL from 125.1 billion TL. Individual credit card spending were up 23.8 percent from 42.5 billion TL to 52.7 billion TL as credit card installments were up 31.1 percent.  Home loans were up 20.3 percent within the given period and car vehicle loans increased 22.8 percent.
