Qatari Rsearchers Win GCC Award
Abu Dhabi,December 07 (QNA) -A Qatari research on the demographic structure and its impact on security has won the GCC's award for security researches for 2011.
Two Qatari researchers, Ghada Ibrahim Ahmed Al Malki, chairperson of the woman affairs commission at the office of the minister of state for interior affairs, and Dr Nora Seif Al Kuwari, lecturer at Qatar University shared half the award with a Saudi participant , for their research " the demographic structure and its impact on the security in GCC members, a study of crime phenomenon in Qatar and Dubai".
An award presentation ceremony was held at a meeting of the GCC interior ministers being held in Abu Dhabi.
The award is given every two years to researches that help security integration and contribute to solving security problems in the GCC. (QNA)
