We will support 500 techno entrepreneurs in Turkey every year as of 2012, says Minister Ergun

ISTANBUL (A.A) - December 7, 2011 - Turkish Minister for Science, Industry and Technology Nihat Ergun said Wednesday that they would support 500 techno entrepreneurs in Turkey every year as of 2012. Delivering the opening remarks at the Turkish Innovation Conference, Ergun said that every techno entrepreneur would receive 100,000 Turkish liras as a grant. Those entrepreneurs who are successful in the first stage will receive an additional grant of 500,000 TL in the second stage, Ergun underlined. One of our goals in the upcoming term is to establish a science and technology center in all 81 Turkish provinces, Ergun said. It is a must for Turkey to pay high attention to the issues of research and development and innovation and to develop cooperation between the universities and the industrial sphere, Ergun also said.
