Human history one of innovation history, says President Gul

ISTANBUL (A.A) - December 7, 2011 - Turkish President Abdullah Gul said Wednesday that the human history was in fact the history of science, technological changes and innovation. Delivering the opening remarks of the Turkish Innovation Conference in Istanbul, President Gul said that technological changes were responsible for the rise and fall of civilizations and the beginning and end of eras. New changes and innovation are the most important dynamics that shape the politics, military, economics and daily lives of societies, Gul said. What motivates development is innovation, Gul stressed. Innovation could be described as a new product with a new production method, Gul said. The creation of a new product implies the destruction of older ones and as such facilitates a dynamism in a society, Gul also said.
