President Saleh condoles Bashar al-Assad

SANA'A, Sep. 28 (Saba) - President Ali Abdullah Saleh sent on Sunday
a cable of condolences to his Syrian counterpart Bashar al-Assad
over the victims of the terrorist act which occurred in Damascus.

President Saleh voiced Yemen's strong condemnation to such
terrorist act, expressing his warmest condolences for the Syrian
leadership and people and the families of the victims.

President Saleh confirmed Yemen's solidarity with Syria against
terrorism.

Seventeen people were killed Saturday morning when a car bomb
exploded in the Syrian capital. The car bomb was meant to hit a
Syrian intelligence services building, located near Damascus'
international airport.
