Government allocates YR 30 billion for hosting Gulf 20

SANA'A, Sep. 28 (Saba)-The government has allocated YR 30 billion
for carrying out infrastructure projects in Aden, Lahj and Abyan
governorates for hosting Gulf Football 20 Championship in 2011.

Informed sources told 26 September weekly newspaper that the sum
will be allocated for constructing stadiums and sport facilities as
well as hotels and other services required in the three governorates.

The sources added that these projects would contribute in making
developmental and service revival in these governorates and would
also create work opportunities to thousands of young people.
