FM Davutoglu says Turkey will continue to monitor developments regarding murder of Turks

FRANKFURT (A.A) – Turkey's foreign minister said late on Thursday that Turkey would continue to monitor developments regarding the murder of Turks by neo-Nazi terorist groups in Germany. Ahmet Davutoglu said Turkey would never leave its citizens alone in Germany, and Turkey would monitor the murder cases. "We will do it together with Germany as Germany is not against us," Davutoglu told Turkish citizens in Hamburg. Davutoglu said this was a legal and human rights fight and Turkey would carry out that fight in compliance with European goals and values. Earlier on Thursday, Davutoglu visited the family of Suleyman Taskopru, a Turk killed by neo-Nazis in 2011, in Hamburg, Germany. Eight Turks and a Greek national had been killed by Neo-Nazi terrorists in several attacks in the past ten years in Germany. A recent investigation involves a newly-discovered Neo-Nazi cell which is suspected of attacking and killing nearly ten immigrants over the last decade. The neo-Nazi cell was discovered when the German police captured a woman wanted for an armed robbery and two men involved in the robbery killed themselves.  German police also recovered a hit-list of 88 people -- including two German politicians -- to be targeted during a search into the homes of suspected members of the Neo-Nazi gang.
