New York, Sept 28, IRNA - Iran's Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki in separate meetings with his Bahraini and South African counterparts here on Saturday, reviewed issues of mutual interest.

The meetings were held on the sidelines of the 63rd annual session of
the UN General Assembly.

bilateral cooperation in the area of gas and combat against smuggling.

The two foreign ministers also reviewed the latest developments in the
Palestinian territories.

Underlining the need for exchange of delegations between the two
countries to further promote bilateral cooperation, Mottaki said the
upcoming session of the two countries joint commission in Tehran will
help boost mutual ties.

Al-Khalifa, for his part, underscored the importance of continued
consultations between the two sides on regional developments and
holding the two countries joint economic commission.

Meanwhile, Mottaki and his South African counterpart, Nkosazana
