Qatar Emir Visits Son of Libyan Liberator Omar Al-Mukhtar

Doha, November 30 (QNA) - HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani paid a visit this morning to Mohamed Omar Al-Mukhtar, son of the Libyan liberator Omar Al-Mukhtar at Al Sharq hotel, where he stays. During the meeting HH the Emir lauded the role of Sheikh Omar Al Mukhtar in defending and liberating his homeland and praised his struggle for freedom. For his part, Mohammed Omar Al-Mukhtar expressed his thanks to HH the Emir for the role played by Qatari leadership and people as well as their historic position taken towards Libya and its people, commending its humanitarian efforts in support of the revolutionaries and the people in realizing the victory of their country. He also wished Qatar continued progress and pride. (QNA)
