Qatar Olympic Committee Participates in "Sport Versus Crime" Conference

Doha, November 28 (QNA) - Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) participated in third International Conference on "Sport Versus Crime" that was held recently in Dubai under theme 'the best field experiences and applications'. The event was held under the auspices of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince, Head of the Executive Office, and Head of Dubai Sports Council. Mubarak bin Mohamed Al Khabi and Hamad Ali Ibrahim from public relations and marketing department represented QOC in the meeting. The third International Conference discussed the recommendations of the first international conference 2004, as well as the second international conference 2009. Preventing crime has become one of the basic components at the top of national security and safety building of strategies in all countries, the organizers said, adding that scientific studies prove that facing the crime is not the responsibility of the security bodies alone, but also a common responsibility society sectors.
