QCCI Delegation Meets Italian Trade Delegation
Doha, November 28 (QNA) - A delegation representing Qatar Chamber of Commerce and industry (QCCI) met here on Monday an Italian trade delegation who is currently visiting Qatar.
Addressing the meeting, member of the QCCI board of directors Mohamed Bin Ahme Al-Obaidli stressed the importance of cooperation with the trade delegations visiting qatar as they contribute to narrowing the gape in viewpoints among these countries indicating meantime that more than 140 delegations from across the world are visiting qatar every year.
Qatar has become attractive to huge investments in view of the tangible progress and development it hs been witnessing in the several sectors where it has been seeeking to achieve stable and sustainable development on the long run, Mohamed Bin Ahme Al-Obaidli told the audience.
The QCCI board of directors'member further said that the QCCI is completely committed to encourage the qatari businessmen and their counterparts from several countries to enter into real parternships noting however that the QCCI encourages the launching of medium and small enterprises.
Mohamed Bin Ahme Al-Obaidli called upon the Italian businessmen to enter into real long -term partnerships with their qatari counterparts to exploit the investment climate qatar is now enjoying.
For his part, the Bmento province's regional adviser for economic development Massino Giordano has called upon the Qatari businessmen to visit Italy and explore the investment opportunties available for the two sides there.
The visiting Italian delegtion represents four trading and economic corporations from four provinces including Bmento, Apulia, Veneto and Marche.
Earlier on march 15, Italian trade delegates and Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI) met in Doha and the meeting, which was co-chaired by Mohammed Mahdi Al Ahbabi, Board Member, QCCI, and Sergio Marini, President, Arab-Italian Chamber of Commerce, was attended by Qatari businessmen and their Italian counterparts.
Addressing the delegates, Al Ahbabi said that the swift economic growth of Qatar facilitates the expansion and establishment of more cooperation between Qatari businessmen and their counterparts. The Arab-Italian Chamber of Commerce, a non-profit organization, ensures equal rights and duties to the members. (QNA)
