New promising oil explorations in Maharah, says oil minister
SANA'A, Sep. 27 (Saba)- Minister of Oil and Minerals Amir al-Aidaros
has revealed that there are new promising oil explorations in base
rocks in Maharah.
In his statement to 26sep.net, al-Aidaros said that the new
exploration are now under study by companies.
He made it clear that there are positive indication about existence
of gas in several blocks, saying that the ministry is working to
better and make some amendments on oil agreements in cooperation
with the parliament.
He also said that the first trial flame for Liquefied Natural Gas
Project would be launched next October, adding that the project is
among 20 big gas projects in the world.AH
