Saudi Pavilion at World Water Expo 2008 ranks 2nd

Riyadh, September 26, SPA--Saudi Pavilion at World Water Expo 2008
held under the title "Water and Sustainable Development" in the city
of Zaragoza in Spain during the period from 14/6 to 14/9/2008 ranked
the second among more than 100 pavilions in the competition of the
best exhibitions in design.

The mayor of Zaragoza Juan Albertoa Buke handed over the award to the
Chairman of the Pavilion's Technical Steering Committee Eng. Samer
bin Abdulaziz al-Sidra in a ceremony marking the conclusion of the
activities of the exhibition patronized by King Juan Carlos II of
Spain and a large number of Heads of State and Government, ministers
and representatives of 105 countries.

The Saudi pavilion deserved this award for creative ideas and
distinguished design contributed to highlighting the importance of
water conservation through practical solutions to rationalization of
water consumption.

The pavilion also ranked the fifth in terms of the number of visitors
through attraction of 1.2 million visitors, about 20% of the total
number of visitors to the exhibition
