Ministry of Business & Trade Delegation Meets Egyptian Delegation

Doha , November 21 (QNA) - A delegation representing the Ministry of Business and Trade held a meeting here on Monday with a delegation of Egyptian businessmen, who are currently visiting Doha and discussed means of backing investment and trade relations between the two sides. Assistant undersecretary at the Ministry of Business and Trade Mohammed Hassan Al Saadi, said at an opening address, that the State of Qatar is interested in working on backing the Egyptian economy through investments, something that he believes will help achieve sustainable growth in Egypt. Al Saadi stressed the importance of similar investments in reshaping the lives of citizens and providing more job opportunities to more people. He also underlined the importance of cooperation between both sides through efforts at the official fronts as well as partnerships in the business sector. He said that Qatar has been able to achieve unprecedented growth levels that grabbed the attention of the world. It also made the State of Qatar one of the leading ten economies in the world. For his part, Vice President of the Egyptian Investors Union Moharam As-Seba'i Hilal said that the meeting represents a positive step towards better cooperation between the two parties. He also called on Qatari investors to invest in Egypt because it has a strong labour force, strong market and suitable environment for investment, he said. He also made presentation showing investment opportunities available in Egypt. (QNA)
