OIC Foreign Ministers hold coordination meeting

New York, September 27, SPA -- Foreign Ministers of member countries
of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) held a coordination
meeting here last night, on the fringes of the current 63rd session
of UN General Assembly.


During the meeting, the Foreign ministers reviewed the efforts
exerted to reduce hostility against Islam in addition to the
importance of achieving food security for developing societies.

They also discussed issues of common interest on the agenda of the
current session of UN General Assembly.


The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of the Saudi Ministry
of Foreign Affairs for Multilateral Relations Prince Turki bin
Mohammed bin Saud Al-Kabeer, member of Kingdom's delegation to the
63rd session UN General Assembly.
