QCCI, Arab-Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Industry Hold Meeting

Doha, November 16 (QNA) - Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI) vice chairman Mohamed bin Ahmed bin Tawar al-Kuwari has held here a meeting with the visiting President of the Arab-Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CASCI), Werner Oberli. During the meeting, al-Kuwari highlighted the need for the involvement of the Swiss companies; which have a great reputation in innovations, food industries, agriculture and medicine; in developing the national small and medium scale industries. For his part, Oberli reaffirmed the deeply rooted trade and economic ties between Qatar and Switzerland, noting the overall progress and comprehensive development undergoing by the State of Qatar. The CASCI President, who is currently visiting Doha as a part of a three-nation Gulf tour that also takes him to Bahrain and Kuwait to enhance regional ties, called for building real a partnership between businessmen in both countries. While Mohamed Ahmed Al-Obaidly, QCCI Board Member said since Qatar has become a global hub of investment the QCCI seeks to strengthen the country's diverse and strong economic base in order to serve the national and global markets.
