Envoy delivers Kingdom's speech at IAEA Board of Governors

Vienna, September 27, SPA -- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has stressed
the importance of intensifying international efforts, especially by
countries that bear a special responsibility in maintaining
international peace and security to enhance the universality of the
Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.


This came in the Kingdom's speech delivered before the Board of
Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency by (IAEA) by
Saudi Ambassador to Austria Prince Mansour bin Khalid Al Saud, who is
also the Saudi Permanent Representative to IAEA in Vienna.


The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is one of the current members of IAEA
Board of Governors.


The Kingdom also supported the establishment of a zone free of
nuclear weapons in the Middle East to achieve a world of cooperation,
peace and security.
