Turkey's budget deficit down 92.6 p.c. between January and October

ANKARA (A.A) - November 15, 2011 - Turkey's budget deficit between January and October was down 92.6 percent when compared to the same term last year and was recorded as 1.7 billion Turkish liras (approx. 951 million USD). According to a report prepared by the Turkish Finance Ministry on the national budget, Turkey's primary surplus between January and October went up 95 percent when compared to the same period last year and was recorded as 35.7 billion TL (approx. 19.9 billion USD). Turkey's budgetary income increased 17.8 percent between January and October when compared to the same term last year and was recorded as 243.7 billion TL (approx. 136.3 billion USD). Between January and October, Turkey's income from taxes went up 22.1 percent when compared to the same period last year and was recorded as 208.1 billion TL (approx. 116.4 billion USD), the Finance Ministry report also said.
