Budgetary spending increases 15.9 p.c. in October

ANKARA (A.A) - November 15, 2011 - Turkey's budgetary spending in October increased 15.9 percent when compared to the same month last year and was recorded as 24.5 billion Turkish liras (approx. 13.7 billion USD). According to a report prepared by the Turkish Finance Ministry on the national budget, Turkey's budgetary income in October increased 16.9 percent when compared to the same month last year and was recorded as 22.6 billion TL (approx. 12.6 billion USD). The Turkish government's income from taxes increased 18.8 percent in October when compared to the same term last year and was recorded as 19.7 billion TL (approx. 11 billion USD), the Finance Ministry report also said.
