Caspian Sea status to be discussed at Iranian conference

Azerbaijan, Baku, Nov. 14 / Trend T. Jafarov / The conference on the legal status of the Caspian Sea will be held in the Iranian province of Mazandaran in early December, Iranian Parliamentary Foreign Policy and National Security Committee member Mehdi Sanai was quoted by the MEHR news agency as saying. "The status of the Caspian Sea will be discussed at the conference," he said. "Coordinating organizations, including the foreign, environment, oil and transport ministries will express their positions." The Iranian city of Rasht in the Gilan province on Oct. 8 hosted a meeting titled, "Caspian Sea." The meeting was attended by Iranian former Foreign Minister Manoucher Mottaki, members of the committee, the Iranian deputy FM, and officials of various ministries. Do you have any feedback?
