Turkey to take resolute stance against attacks on its diplomatic missions in Syria

ANKARA (A.A) - November 14, 2011 - Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said on Monday that they would take the most resolute attitude against attacks on Turkish diplomatic missions in Syria. Davutoglu made statements regarding attacks on the Turkish Embassy in Damascus as well as consulates in the cities of Aleppo and Latakia when he was informing parliamentarians about the foreign ministry's 2012 budget. "We will take the most resolute stance against those attacks and we will stand by the Syrian people's rightful struggle," he said. Davutoglu said that they welcomed the decision made by Arab League (to suspend Syria's membership). Syrian government must end violence against its own people and fulfill reforms as soon as possible, he said.
