Workshop to help HCMC businesses' integration

HCM City (VNA) - The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) will help
HCM City 's businesses with information exchange and policy consultation
towards better performance during international integration.

At a workshop held in HCM City on Sept. 26, within the framework of
the MULTRAP III, a EU-Vietnam project aimed boosting the country's trade for
sustainable development and poverty alleviation, participants discussed ways
to help businesses and witnessed the signing between MoIT and HCM City
.

At the event, the project's chief adviser, Claudio Dorni, stressed the
goals of strengthening the MoIT's capacity in coordinating and implementing
Vietnam 's WTO commitments. He also spoke of competition policies while
protecting consumers' interests, and others.
Local experts and participants discussed Vietnam 's
opportunities and challenges after one and a half year being a WTO member,
and its need for technical assistance.-Enditem
