Prince Saud meets Filipino President

New York, Sept 26, SPA -- Prince Saud al-Faisal, the Foreign
Minister and Head of the Saudi delegation to the meetings of the UN's
general assembly, met here yesterday with Filipino President Gloria
Macapagal Arroyo who chairs the initiative of dialogue among the
followers of the religions and cooperating for peace.
They reviewed the outcome of the initiative of the Custodian of the
two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz for dialogue among the
followers of the religions. The initiative focuses on enhancing
cooperation among the people of different religions, beliefs and
cultures on the basis of the common values advocated by all religions
and beliefs.
They also reviewed means for enhancing cooperation between the
initiative and the other initiatives that aim at enabling the mankind
to avoid problems and evils.
The meeting was attended by Saudi ambassador to the US Adel al-Jubeir
and a number of other senior officials.
